John Paul Stevenson's
voice has shaped the image and sound of radio stations and professional sports organization across the United States. Since 1992, John Paul has worked as an on air talent and producer of broadcasts in both live and pre-recorded settings. He is equally comfortable delivering in a broad range of formats including Oldies, Country, News/Talk, CHR and Rock just to name a few. John Paul was also chosen to be one of the first live broadcast talents for the newly founded Sirius Satellite Radio Network when he hosted the Elvis Presley radio show live from Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.

John Paul first began his sports presentation career in 2001 when he was selected to be the newly established Memphis Grizzlies’ (NBA) live PA Announcer. Twice during his tenure with the team, John Paul was identified as a Top 5 Announcer in official, league-wide NBA fan-feedback surveys. That recognition led to long term relationships with other sports properties including the Carolina Panthers Radio/TV Network (NFL), the Denver Broncos Radio Network (NFL), the Colorado Rockies Radio Network (MLB), the Memphis Redbirds (Triple A Affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals), and most recently, he was named the in arena voice of the Houston Rockets (NBA). Since 2002, John Paul has served as the live announcer for the NBA’s Martin Luther King Half-Time Special, broadcast nationally on TNT. He was also chosen by the Carolina Panthers to be the official voice for Super Bowl XXXVIII. In addition to announcing 250+ NBA basketball games in Memphis and Houston, John Paul has hosted other unique sporting and special events including the International Maccabi Games in 2003, and the Nike World Hoop Classic.

When not working in radio and sports, John Paul often donates his time and talents to charitable organizations and philanthropic causes. St. Jude Children’s Hospital, LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, Theatre Memphis, WKNO, and Germantown Community Theatre are only some of the recipients of John Paul’s efforts as a volunteer.
